Summer Lovin!
Well it's been a very busy few weeks here at The Winding House (TWH), from weddings, 3rd birthday parties and a wowzer of a photoshoot!
On the 6th of July the lovely Kayti & Rob tied the knot in true TWH style! This venue really does wow your guests, you can show off your own sassy style as anything pretty much goes here. All white walls and grey floors it's easy to add a flash of colour and transform a contemporary neutral setting to a beautiful style that suits any couple. Kayti and Rob chose to use Hand made creations Kent for the beautiful LOVE letters as their back drop for their nuptials and Teresa's flowers for their table decorations and beautiful garlands along the bridge. Their amazing cake was lovingly hand crafted by Katherine at Bluebirds Bakehouse, with a cool cake topper showing their country roots! Nick Beale captured every moment and we're looking forward to seeing the pics once they are edited! Food was as always perfectly delivered by the brilliant caterers Azra, who offer a seemless service and delicious food. Bar providers Mobile Bars 2 U complete the service side of things with drinks packages and bar provision of the highest standard. Every wedding at TWH is overseen by myself and the lovely Suzie to ensure everything runs to plan and time and every guest is well cared for. I said on my own wedding day that I needed another me behind the scenes to make sure all my smaller plans and details were cared for and that's exactly how I see my role here at TWH. I've done everything from helping brides go to the loo, sewing up bridesmaids dresses to holding bouquets and finding toys to amuse little ones with! We like to go above and beyond with our service and really do keep it personal!

A few days later we were hosting my little ones 3rd birthday party, with a dinosaur bouncy castle from Canterbury Bouncy Castles, 12 toddlers and plenty of party hats! My wonderful sister made a beautiful Peppa Pig cake as requested and never fails to deliver! I do think that 12 toddlers managed to make more mess than a wedding for 100 people! But they had lots of fun!

Yesterday we were hosts to a truly brilliant photoshoot arranged by Claire Hartley who designed the Tropical concept and managed to pull together an amazing team who all took on board the concept and more than delivered. We love doing photoshoots here at TWH as the real creatives can let their hair down with their designs without being restrained on an actual wedding. It really is inspiring working with such professionals and seeing what they are truly capable of. Then couples can see what really is achievable and on differing budgets! Looking forward to sharing the finished articles
