The Winding House is over a 100 years old and is a former Victorian Coal Mining building. Nestled down a rural country lane and surrounded by countryside yet easily accessible from Canterbury or Dover via the A2. Here at The Winding House it is our ethos to enable you to have the day of your dreams. We will only ever hold one wedding each weekend enabling a day ahead of your wedding to prepare and decorate as you wish and time after to collect your decorations and belongings without being rushed out. We are neutrally decorated so you can push the boat out with your own style and design. We are able to cater comfortably for 100 day guests and a further 50 evening guests with on site parking for 40 cars.

We have very carefully selected our catering partners who are of the highest standard, enabling you to choose the one that best suits your needs. We also run a complimentary minibus service for your guests to and from the local hotel where we receive preferential rates, so your guests can get here easily without the worry of driving.
